BONO RCC HOLDS 2025 FOURTH QUARTER EXPANDED RPCU MEETING
The Expanded Regional Planning Coordinating Unit (RPCU) of the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) held its 2025 Fourth Quarter Meeting on 5th February 2026 at the Bono RCC Conference Room, bringing together a broad spectrum of departments and agencies to review progress and strengthen coordination for regional development.
The meeting attracted representatives from key institutions, including the Health Directorate, National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Complementary Education Agency, Community Development, Gender Department, Land Use and Spatial Planning Authority (LUSPA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Ministry of Trade, Ghana Library Authority, Ghana Enterprises Agency, National Youth Authority, Veterinary Services, Department of Agriculture, Births and Deaths Registry, National Sports Authority, National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Parks and Gardens, among others.
Proceedings were officially opened by the Regional Development Planning Officer, who initially chaired the session on behalf of the Chairman of the RPCU, the Regional Coordinating Director.

The agenda focused on three main areas: the consideration of minutes from the previous meeting, presentations on end-of-year departmental reports by selected agencies, and discussions on strategies to consolidate gains made in the previous year to enhance performance in the current year.
During the meeting, departments shared insights into their activities, achievements, and challenges, providing an opportunity for cross-sector learning and collaboration. Discussions emphasized the importance of sustaining progress, improving inter-agency coordination, and adopting practical measures to address emerging development needs across the Bono Region.
In his closing remarks, the Chairman of the RPCU, the Regional Coordinating Director, expressed appreciation to members for their commitment and active participation. He commended the collective efforts of departments in advancing regional development and encouraged them to remain dedicated to their roles, despite the challenges encountered in the course of their work.
The meeting ended with a renewed sense of shared responsibility towards the continued growth and development of the Bono Region.
