BONO REGIONAL MINISTER RECEIVES GHANA BAR ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, on 24th August 2026, received a delegation from the Executive Council of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), led by its National President, Mrs. Efua Ghartey, for a courtesy call at his office.

The engagement provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on issues relating to the legal profession, governance, justice and the rule of law.

Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, who is also a lawyer and public servant, reaffirmed the important role of the legal profession in strengthening Ghana’s democracy, promoting accountability and upholding constitutionalism.

He expressed appreciation for the constructive engagement and underscored the importance of continued collaboration between the Regional Coordinating Council and the Ghana Bar Association in advancing justice, good governance and development in the Bono Region and Ghana as a whole.
