BONO REGIONAL MINISTR LEADS FERTILIZER DISTRIBUTION TO SCHOOLS UNDER FEED GHANA INITIATIVE

On 6th February 2026, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, led the distribution of fertilizers to beneficiary schools within the Sunyani Municipality.

The exercise formed part of the government’s Feed Ghana Initiative, which is designed to strengthen local food production and advance national food self-sufficiency.

The initiative seeks to support improved agricultural practices, particularly within educational institutions engaged in farming activities, while promoting sustainable food production at the community level.

Through this programme, the government aims to empower schools and local communities to contribute meaningfully to long-term food security and self-reliance.
