PRESIDENT NOMINEE CONFIRMED AS DCE FOR DORMAA EAST DISTRICT ASSEMBLY

Hon. Osei Owusu King has been confirmed as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Dormaa East District Assembly, following a special assembly meeting held on April 7, 2025. He secured 73.3% of the total valid votes cast, with 22 out of 30 assembly members endorsing his nomination.

In his acceptance speech, Hon. Owusu expressed his gratitude to the assembly members for their support and pledged to collaborate with key stakeholders, including traditional authorities, to drive development throughout the district.

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, commended the assembly for a successful confirmation process and encouraged members to put aside political and personal differences to support the newly confirmed DCE.

The importance of unity and collective effort in achieving the assembly’s development objectives was strongly emphasized by the Regional Minister.

The Honourable Regional Minister also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Dormaa East’s growth and development.

With strong leadership and cooperative governance, stakeholders remain optimistic about the district’s future and the potential to deliver meaningful progress for its residents.
