NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL DELEGATION PAY A COURTESY CALL ON HON. JOSEPH AKWABOA

The Bono Regional Minister, Honourable Joseph Addae Akwaboa (ESQ.), expressed his delight at meeting a delegation from the National Security Council on March 18, 2025 during their visit to the Bono Region for a three-day public forum .

The forum was themed “Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism and Terrorism in Ghana”. Upon being informed of the theme, the Minister acknowledged its relevance and commended the organizers for their timely choice.

Hon. Akwaboa was invited as the Special Guest of Honour to officially open the event, an invitation he gladly accepted. He also assured the delegation of his continued support and openness to collaboration whenever needed.

During the meeting, he reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, to addressing issues related to security and countering violent extremism.
