SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS – YEA AND BONO REGIONAL MINISTER DONATE BAGS OF CORN TO SHSs

On May 6, 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Mr. Malik Basintale, to donate a substantial quantity of bags of corn to senior high schools across the Bono Region.
This donation, an initiative spearheaded by the Youth Employment Agency, is intended to support student feeding and create a more conducive learning environment.
The Bono Regional Minister commended the YEA for its ongoing efforts to give back to the community, describing the initiative as a meaningful contribution toward the well-being of students.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting programs that seek to improve the quality of life for residents of the region, particularly the youth and students.
In remarks made during the donation event, the Regional Minister expressed optimism about the future of Ghana’s youth, assuring them that more opportunities lie ahead.
He highlighted the vision of President John Dramani Mahama and the leadership of the YEA in creating employment avenues for young people, including roles such as fire service assistants, police assistants, and immigration assistants.

The Minister emphasized that such partnerships and community-focused initiatives are instrumental in building a brighter future.
He expressed confidence that the impact of this donation, along with similar efforts, would be long-lasting and beneficial to the development of the region and its youth.
