REGIONAL MINISTER MEETS BONO REGIONAL HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS AND INSTITUTIONS IN SUNYANI

On the 12th of February 2025, a significant meeting took place in the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) conference room in Sunyani. The Honourable Regional Minister for Bono, alongside the Chief Director of the Bono RCC, Mr. Andrews Mensah, engaged with heads of various departments in a productive maiden session. The meeting was centered around fostering collaboration, understanding departmental functions and scope of work, and addressing the current challenges facing the region.

Mr. Andrews Mensah, the Chief Director of the Bono RCC, introduced the Honourable Minister to the department heads and provided a brief yet informative profile of the Minister. His introduction set a positive tone for the gathering, creating an open atmosphere for dialogue and collaboration.

The Honourable Regional Minister, in his opening remarks, extended a warm welcome to all the heads of departments present. Expressing his enthusiasm for the role, the Minister emphasized his eagerness to work closely with the team. “I am looking forward to having a cordial and constructive working relationship with each of you,” he stated. The Minister’s openness to partnership reassured the department heads that their contributions would be valued in achieving the region’s goals.

Each department head then had the opportunity to present a briefing on their scope of work, ongoing projects, programs, and the challenges they are currently facing. These insights provided the Minister with a comprehensive understanding of the regional operations and the areas that require focused attention.

Concluding the meeting, the Minister assured the staff that he had carefully noted their concerns and highlighted his intention to engage with them on a one-on-one basis. This would allow him to gain a deeper understanding of their roles and ensure a more tailored approach to solving the issues at hand. “I look forward to working closely with you to fully appreciate the scope of your work,” the Minister affirmed.
