BONO RCC HOLDS MAIDEN STAFF MEETING WITH NEW REGIONAL MINISTER

The Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) held a maiden staff meeting on the 10th of February 2025 in the conference room of the RCC to formally introduce the newly sworn-in Bono Regional Minister to the staff. This meeting marked the Minister’s first official engagement with the team he will be working with in the region.

The meeting commenced with an address by the Chief Director, who outlined the purpose of the gathering. He emphasized that the primary aim was to introduce the Honourable Regional Minister to the staff, setting the stage for a collaborative working relationship.

Following this, Madam Theresah Adjei-Mensah provided a brief profile of the Honourable Minister, highlighting his academic background, work and professional experience. Her introduction set the tone for the Minister’s engagement with the staff.

In his address, the Honourable Regional Minister expressed his commitment to prioritizing staff welfare, recognizing it as a key factor in ensuring that employees give their utmost best in the discharge of their duties. He stressed the importance of creating a supportive and motivated workforce that would contribute effectively to the development of the region.

The Minister also shared his vision for infrastructure improvements, particularly the renovation of the Residency. He explained that this official residence, which accommodates the Regional Minister and other top government officials, including the President and Vice President when they visit the region, needs urgent refurbishment. He assured the staff that he would work diligently to see this project come to fruition.

Additionally, the Minister encouraged the staff to maintain a strong work ethic and foster good working relationships among themselves. He acknowledged the significance of each staff member’s role in achieving the collective goals of the RCC. To further promote an open and effective work environment, he assured the team that his doors would always be open for discussions, concerns, and issue resolution.

There was and interactive session after the Minister’s speech which allowed staff to ask questions, bring up complains and make contributions to the discussions at the meeting and the concerns raised addressed by management.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Madam Akua Gyekyewaa Antwi. She expressed gratitude to the Honourable Regional Minister for his reassuring words and commitment to staff welfare. She also extended appreciation to the Chief Director for his leadership and encouragement, reinforcing the collective resolve to work towards the region’s progress.

This maiden meeting set a positive tone for the Honourable Minister’s tenure, paving the way for strengthened collaboration and an enhanced working environment at the Bono Regional Coordinating Council.
