On the 6th of February 2025, the Regional Planning Coordinating Unit (RPCU) of the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) held an orientation workshop at the conference room of the RCC. The workshop aimed to familiarize Heads of Departments and Units with the data requirements for the 2024 Annual Progress Report (APR) and Annual Action Plan (AAP), as requested by the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC).

The NDPC had mandated the Bono RCC to submit its 2024 APR and Annual Action Plan, ensuring alignment with national development goals. To facilitate this, the NDPC also requested that the RCC organize a day’s workshop to equip relevant stakeholders with the necessary knowledge on data requirement and reporting process for the submission of the APR and AAP.

During the workshop which was facilitated by Madam Mavis Adu, a Principal Development Planning Officer at the RCC, participants were guided through the specific data requirements and reporting formats essential for compiling an accurate and comprehensive APR. The facilitators provided insights into best practices for data collection and verification, ensuring that all departments and units could effectively contribute to the report’s preparation.

The workshop also served as a platform for interactive discussions, where participants raised concerns, sought clarifications, and shared ideas on how to improve the data submission process. By the end of the session, attendees had gained a clearer understanding of their roles and responsibilities in the preparation of the 2024 APR and AAP.

This orientation workshop reinforced the commitment of the Bono RCC to maintaining a structured and efficient planning process. By ensuring that all Heads of Departments and Units are well-informed about data requirements, the RCC is poised to deliver a comprehensive and timely submission to the NDPC, ultimately contributing to the broader national development agenda.
