HON. YUSIF SULEMANA INAUGURATES BONO REGIONAL LANDS COMMISSION BOARD

A significant development in land governance has taken place in the Bono Region with the inauguration of the 19-member Bono Regional Lands Commission Board.

The event, held on 28th May 2025 at Sunyani, was graced by the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Honourable Yusif Sulemana.

The inauguration marks a pivotal step toward enhancing land governance, promoting peace, and fostering sustainable development across the region.

The newly constituted Board is chaired by Mr. Ibrahim Ali Adjei, who is widely regarded for his industrious approach to public service.

The Board is expected to play a key role in managing land administration, ensuring transparency, and advancing sustainable land use practices.

During the ceremony, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, called on the Board members to approach their responsibilities with professionalism and a strong commitment to the national development agenda.

He expressed confidence that the collaborative efforts between regional authorities and the new Board would unlock the region’s resource potential and contribute significantly to its growth.
