HON. SALIA IDDISAH CONFIRMED AS DCE FOR TAIN DISTRICT ASSEMBLY IN BONO REGION
On April 9, 2025, Hon. Salia Iddisah was unanimously confirmed as the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Tain District Assembly in the Bono Region, receiving 100% of the valid votes from all 52 assembly members. His confirmation marks a significant moment for the district’s leadership and governance.
The assembly also elected Madam Millicent Adu as its Presiding Member.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Iddisah expressed heartfelt gratitude to the assembly members and committed to working diligently with all stakeholders to address the district’s developmental challenges.
He highlighted agriculture, road infrastructure development, and youth employment as his primary areas of focus during his tenure.
The DCE also urged the people to remain united and contribute to the development of the district.
Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister, also offered his full support to Hon. Iddisah, assuring him of continued assistance in executing developmental projects aimed at improving the living standards of the people of Tain District and the broader Bono Region.

We do not want any form of DIVIDE AND RULE STYLE. I am entreating that all the distribution of the District Assembly common fund should be evenly distributed to all the 4 zones… from Gabriel Osei Tannor.
