BONO REGIONAL MINISTER WELCOMES DELEGATION FROM DORMAA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

On Thursday, 17th April 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, welcomed a delegation from Dormaa Senior High School (DORMASS) during a courtesy visit led by the school’s Headmaster, Mr. Thomas Asante.
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to extend their congratulations to the Minister on his recent appointment and to engage in a discussion about the school’s needs and future aspirations.
As an alumnus of DORMASS, Hon. Akwaboa expressed appreciation for the visit and the well-wishes. He reaffirmed his dedication to working collaboratively with the school’s leadership to foster an environment that supports academic excellence and leadership development among students.

The Minister emphasized the government’s continued commitment to strengthening Senior High School education under the leadership of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. “Strategic efforts are underway to enhance the Free SHS program and revitalize the school feeding initiative, with the aim of improving the overall quality of support available to students”, Hon. Akwaboa said.
Hon. Akwaboa highlighted the critical role of education in shaping the future of the region and the nation, expressing optimism that through collective effort, the President’s vision for a stronger educational sector can be fully realized.
