BONO REGIONAL MINISTER LEADS TREE PLANTING TRIBUTE TO LATE CHIEF DIRECTOR

A solemn gathering took place on 10th June 2025 at the forecourt of the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) to pay tribute to the late Mr. Andrews Mensah, the esteemed Chief Director of the Council.

The event featured a symbolic tree planting exercise in recognition of Mr. Mensah’s enduring commitment to the Green Ghana project and his transformative leadership, which made a lasting impact on the region.

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined Mrs. Mensah, their children, Heads of Departments, staff, and other stakeholders in the commemorative activity.

The trees planted during the event are intended to serve as a lasting reminder of Mr. Mensah’s legacy and his passion for environmental sustainability.

Reflecting on Mr. Mensah’s outstanding contributions to the Bono RCC, participants expressed admiration for his vision and dedication.

The final funeral rites are scheduled for Saturday, 14th June 2025, at Kokoa near Sampa in the Jaman North District, and the public is invited to attend.

Mr. Mensah is remembered for his exemplary leadership and unwavering service to the region, qualities that continue to inspire all who worked with him.
