BONO RCC ORGANIZES 2024 END OF YEAR REVIEW OF PROJET IMPLEMENTATION WORKSHOP FOR MMDAs

On Wednesday, 23rd April 2025, the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) organized the 2024 End-of-Year Review Workshop on Project Implementation. The event was held at the University of Ghana Distance Learning Centre in Sunyani and brought together all Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) within the region.

In a speech delivered on behalf of the Honourable Bono Regional Minister, Mr. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, by a Deputy Director of the RCC, participants were warmly welcomed and encouraged to fully engage in the workshop and contribute their best efforts to ensure its success.

Three participating Municipal Assemblies (MAs) under the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Program (GSCSP)—Dormaa Central, Berekum East, and Sunyani—delivered comprehensive presentations. These focused on the implementation of the Urban Development Grant and Capacity Support Grant under the GSCSP.

The presentations highlighted key achievements and success stories, challenges faced, recommendations, project implementation statuses, capacity-building support programs, as well as fund disbursements and allocations.

In closing, the Regional Development Planning Officer, Mr. Joseph Mensah, expressed his appreciation to all participants for attending and contributing to the success of the workshop.
