BONO REGIONAL MINISTER HOSTS TOURISM MINISTER TO ADVANCE TOURISM AND CREATIVE ARTS DEVELOPMENT

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, on 19th August 2026 hosted the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts and Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, and her delegation during a working visit to the Bono Region.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Tourism Minister and her team to engage with stakeholders, assess the region’s tourism, cultural and creative assets, and explore practical strategies to advance the sector and unlock its full potential.

During the engagement, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa highlighted key issues affecting the promotion and preservation of culture and heritage in the region. He also presented proposals and requests for consideration, aimed at attracting greater investment, strengthening cultural development, promoting heritage sites, and positioning the Bono Region as a preferred destination for tourism and creative enterprise.

The engagement is expected to contribute to renewed efforts to develop the region’s tourism, culture and creative arts sector, while creating greater opportunities and preserving the region’s cultural heritage for the benefit of present and future generations.
