CENTRE FOR NATIONAL CULTURE ENGAGES IN CULTURAL PROMOTION AT TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

Centre for National Culture (CNC), Bono Region, supported some final year students of the Hospitality and Tourism Department in the month of July at the Sunyani Technical University with a drama performance depicting Otumfour and his entourage.

The Drama performed was to depict a chief and his entourage in state and protocols surrounding their attendance. It was staged as part of the students’ project work at the auditorium of the University and attended by Lecturers and other staffs of the department, health workers, among others.

A grooming for traditional pageantry was also given to a lady from the University of Education Winneba (UEW), to prepare her for the 2024 edition of the Face of UEW pageantry. She was coached in public speaking, drumming and drum language, dancing among others.
