BONO REGIONAL MINISTER WELCOMES 2025 HEALTH ADMISSIONS CONFERENCE TO SUNYANI

On Monday, 23rd June 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, formally welcomed participants to the 2025 Admissions Conference for Health Training Institutions held at the Eusbette Hotel International Conference Centre in Sunyani.

The Minister expressed the region’s pride in hosting such a significant national event and conveyed enthusiasm about the prospect of hosting it again in the future.

He underscored the importance of building a resilient health workforce as a fundamental step toward achieving quality healthcare delivery across Ghana.

Hon. Akwaboa commended the Minister of Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, for his leadership and commitment in prioritizing this critical engagement. He also acknowledged the dedication of policymakers, educators, and stakeholders in driving forward Ghana’s health sector reforms.

The conference served as a platform to reflect on strategies for strengthening health workforce training, with a shared vision of advancing the nation toward Universal Health Coverage through effective collaboration and capacity-building initiatives.
