BONO REGIONAL MINISTER RECEIVES TULLOW GHANA, FORESTRY COMMISSION DELEGATION ON A COURTESY VISIT
The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, on 14th August 2026 received a delegation from Tullow Ghana and the Ghana Forestry Commission led by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Hugh Brown, during a courtesy call at his office.
The engagement provided an opportunity for the delegation to brief the Regional Minister on their collaborative efforts to address the pressing challenges of climate change and forest degradation, as well as other initiatives planned for implementation across the Bono Region.
Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa commended the partnership and the commitment demonstrated towards promoting environmental sustainability and protecting the region’s forest resources. He expressed optimism that the proposed initiatives would be successfully implemented and contribute meaningfully to the development, resilience and sustainable future of the Bono Region.
He further wished the partners success in their efforts and expressed hope that their initiatives would deliver lasting benefits to communities and the people of the region.
