BONO REGIONAL MINISTER RECEIVES COURTESY CALL FROM GHANA INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERING

On 12th May 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, received a courtesy call from Ing. Prof. Nyantakyi, Chair of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) – Branch 2, and his delegation at the Regional Coordinating Council.

During the visit, the delegation congratulated the Minister on his recent appointment and engaged in discussions focused on how the engineering body could contribute to addressing key developmental challenges in the Bono Region.

The team shared insights on leveraging their technical expertise to support regional development initiatives.

Ing. Prof. Nyantakyi pledged to offer in-service training for engineers within the local assemblies to help strengthen their technical capacity and performance.

The Bono Regional Minister expressed appreciation for the institution’s goodwill and affirmed the region’s readiness to collaborate with the engineering fraternity in driving sustainable development efforts.
