BONO CENTRE FOR NATIONAL CULTURE ORGANIZES CULTURAL TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR THE PUBLIC

Various trainings were organized at the regional and district levels in Arts and craft, Traditional Drumming and Dancing, Poetry Recital, Traditional Cloth Wearing for Public and Private offices, Churches.

Some of these beneficiary institutions included the Sustainable Impact Makers International (SIMI)-Sunyani, Roman Catholic Church-Sunyani, Presbyterian Church-Odomase, Youth Development Associations-Sunyani, Methodist Church-Dormaa, Department of Children and the National Population Council-Sunyani etc.

The Centre as well facilitated the dressing of the Bono Methodist Church Choir at the cultural dressing competition held in Tarkwa in September. The Centre ensured the group were properly dressed to depict the selected region for the competition at the 50th Anniversary of National Conference of Choristers.
