REGIONAL MINISTER ASSURES PUBLIC AS REPAIR WORKS BEGIN ON SUNYANI COCOBOD ROUNDABOUT PIPELINE BURST

On 25th August 2025, a pipe breakage occurred at the Sunyani COCOBOD roundabout in the Rex Area. The pipeline, which had been underground for decades, suddenly burst, disrupting normal flow in the area.

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, together with the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Vincent Antwi Agyei, and other relevant stakeholders, promptly visited the site to assess the situation and determine the best course of action.

Engineers from the responsible institutions have already commenced repair works to address the problem.

Hon. Akwaboa assured the public that the repairs would be completed as soon as possible, while also apologizing for the inconvenience caused and appreciating the public’s patience as efforts continue to restore normalcy.
