REGIONAL MINISTER ADDRESSES NAGRAT CONFERENCE, ADVOCATES FOR GREATER RESPECT AND SUPPORT FOR TEACHERS

On 3rd December 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, participated in the 14th National Delegates Conference of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT).

He was joined by the Member of Parliament for Bulsa and Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Clement Apaak. The event was held at the Tyco City Hotel in Sunyani.

During the conference, the Regional Minister delivered the welcome address, highlighting the critical role teachers play as foundational pillars of society.

He stressed that the education system cannot thrive if educators, who carry the significant responsibility of shaping the minds of the nation’s youth, are subjected to attacks or mistreatment.

He further emphasized the need to accord teachers the respect and support necessary to create an environment in which they can excel and empower students to reach their full potential.
