INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE DR. DAMPARE PAYS WORKING VISIT TO THE BONO REGION

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, on Friday, 10th February 2023, paid a day working visit to the Bono Region of Ghana
The IGP’s visit started with a courtesy call on the Honourable Bono Regional Minister, Madam Justina Owusu-Banahene at her office at the Bono Regional Coordinating Council. He was accompanied by the Bono Regional Commander of the Ghana Police Service, DCOP Mr. Joseph Gyamera Oklu, among other personnel of the Ghana Police Service.
The Bono Regional Minister warmly welcomed the IGP and his entourage to the Bono Region.
In his engagement with the Minister, The IGP noted that the visit to the region is to afford him the opportunity to touch base with communities in the region to listen to their security concerns.
The IGP also visited the Campus of University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) to listen to security concerns on Campus and how to address them.
The IGP assured that the Ghana Police Service will continue to work for the country’s security and safety.
