INAUGURATION OF KYEM AMPONSAH SHS MARKS A MILESTONE IN REGION’S EDUCATION DRIVE – BONO REGIONAL MINISTER

On 28th June 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined dignitaries, education stakeholders, and the local community for the official inauguration of Kyem Amponsah Senior High School at Fiapre.

The newly established institution, described by Hon. Akwaboa as a solid and promising venture, stands as a testament to collective effort and visionary leadership.

Hon. Akwaboa extended commendation to the Fiapre Hene, Obrempong Professor Kyem Amponsah II, the Sunyani West Municipal Assembly, the Ghana Education Service, and other development partners whose collaboration made the project a reality.

Emphasizing the transformative power of quality education, the Regional Minister noted that investing in education remains a key strategy for national development. He expressed optimism that with sustained support, students of Kyem Amponsah SHS would grow into responsible citizens and future leaders.

Hon. Akwaboa also reiterated government’s unwavering commitment to community development under the leadership of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama.

He assured that the Fiapre community and the wider Sunyani West Municipal would continue to benefit from this agenda, particularly in the area of education.

He concluded by emphasizing the need for ongoing collaboration with stakeholders to promote quality education across the Bono Region, with the aim of securing a brighter future for the next generation.
