BONO REGIONAL MINISTER JOINS LEGAL FRATERNITY TO MARK 43RD MARTYRS’ DAY

On 30th June 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined members of the legal fraternity at the Anglican Church in Sunyani to commemorate the 43rd Martyrs Day.

The solemn occasion was held in remembrance of the courageous individuals who laid down their lives in the pursuit of justice and democracy.

In his remarks, Hon. Akwaboa underscored the enduring significance of the rule of law and the protection of judicial independence.

He emphasized that the courage and conviction demonstrated by the martyrs serve as a powerful reminder and inspiration to continue building a society grounded in fairness and justice.

He further called on all citizens to honor the legacy of the fallen heroes by renewing their commitment to justice, equality, and human rights.

“May their sacrifice not be in vain, and may we continue to work towards a brighter future for all,” he stated.
