HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGERS IN BONO REGION HOLD BI-ANNUAL MEETING IN SUNYANI

The Human Resource Department is mandated to organize a bi-annual meeting for all Human Resource Managers (HRM) in the Region.

To this end, the Bono Regional Human Resource Department organized a meeting for all HRMs in the region.

The meeting was held on 14th August 2024 at the Bono Regional Coordinating Council Conference Room in Sunyani.

The meeting was facilitated by Mrs. Akua Gyekyewaa Antwi, Senior Human Resource Manager and supported by Mr. Charles Amoah, Human Resource Manager and Ms. Lydia Bemah, Human Resource Manager, all staff of Bono RCC.

The meeting was aimed at bringing all HRMs together to do peer review on the responsibilities of HRMs, discuss the Key Performance Indicators for HRMs in the Performance Contract, to ensure a more efficient and accurate reporting of staff due for promotion using the appropriate template and Local Government Service protocols, to address issues related to promotion inputs and retirement confirmation letter, among other important issues.

Mr. Alexander Bae-Yeboah, a Deputy Director at Bono RCC, gave an opening address on behalf of Mr. Andrews Mensah, Chief Director of Bono RCC. He welcomed all the people present at the meeting.

In his address he emphasized on the need to network and share ideas as HRMs. He used the opportunity to applaud the HRMs in the various District for their commitment in discharging their official duties. He continued to charge the HRMs to fully participate in the activities of the day and offer contributions, ideas to make the meeting a success.

At the end, participants had an open forum/question. Questions on promotion inputs, punctuality, capacity building and absenteeism were raised and were addressed by Mrs. Akua Gyekyewaa Antwi.

Mrs. Akua Gyekyewaa thanked all the HRMs presents for making it a point to attend the meeting and urged them work hard in their various Districts.
