AGRIC DEPARTMENT COLLABORATE WITH GHANA GROWS AND KNUST FOR SENSITIZATION ON AGRICULTURE ACTIVITIES

The Dormaa Central Municipal Department of Agriculture collaborated with the Ghana Grows to create awareness for the youth on business and job opportunities in the agriculture sector.
The training which was under the Technical Vocational Education aimed at addressing the perception about agriculture being for the poor and those who have no or low education.
After the sensitization exercise, several of the youth visited the Department to seek assistance on rearing grasscutter, snail farming, and many more.
The Department again collaborated with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to train farmers on soil fertility management at Aboabo No. 4.
