BONO REGIONAL MINISTER VISITS OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR OF COMPANIES

As part of efforts to engage with key institutions in the Bono Region, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, paid a working visit to the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) on 18th July 2025.

During the visit, he interacted with the regional management team and received comprehensive briefings on the office’s critical role in business registration, regulation, and support services.

The ORC was acknowledged by Hon. Akwaboa for its pivotal role in fostering business growth and development across the region. The Minister commended the dedication and professionalism of the staff, recognizing their contributions to creating a conducive business environment.

He also took note of the challenges confronting the office and expressed his readiness to advocate for the necessary resources and support to address them.

The visit reaffirmed the government’s commitment, under the leadership of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, to strengthening institutions such as the ORC to ensure they are better equipped to serve the business community.

The Minister emphasized the importance of collaboration between his office and the ORC in advancing economic development within the Bono Region.
