BONO REGIONAL MINISTER VISITS BANK OF GHANA REGIONAL OFFICE TO STRENGTHEN ECONOMIC COLLABORATION
As part of ongoing efforts to engage key institutions in the Bono Region, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, paid a working visit to the Regional Office of the Bank of Ghana on 22nd July 2025.
The office oversees operations across the Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, and parts of the Upper West Regions.
During the visit, the Minister met with the regional management team to gain a deeper understanding of the Bank’s critical role in national economic development.
The discussions centered around the Bank of Ghana’s core mandate, which includes the formulation and implementation of monetary policy, regulation of the banking and credit system, and promotion of financial stability within the country.

Hon. Akwaboa commended the professionalism and expertise demonstrated by the staff and acknowledged their dedication to maintaining the health of Ghana’s financial sector.
He also listened to the challenges faced by the office and assured management of his commitment to supporting their operations.
The visit reaffirmed the Regional Minister’s intent to collaborate closely with the Bank of Ghana to foster a resilient financial sector capable of driving sustainable economic growth across the regions under its jurisdiction.
