BONO REGIONAL MINISTER JOINS PASSING-OUT PARADE FOR 290 YOUNG SOLDIERS IN SUNYANI

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined the Reviewing Officer, Brigadier General Joshua Amanor, General Officer Commanding, Central Command, at the Sunyani Liberation Barracks on 25th September 2026 for the Passing-Out Parade of 290 young soldiers who successfully completed the Basic Infantry Training Course 1-2026 (BITC 1-26) at the Armour Training School.

The ceremony, held at the Liberation Barracks in Sunyani, marked an important milestone in the professional development and military preparedness of the graduating trainees as they completed their foundational training and prepared to take on their responsibilities in the military service of Ghana.

The parade also highlighted the discipline, commitment and resilience demonstrated by the trainees throughout the course as they underwent rigorous military training to equip them for their future roles in safeguarding the nation.

The Bono Regional Minister commended the graduating soldiers for their dedication, determination and perseverance during the training and wished them success as they begin their professional careers and assume the responsibility of serving and defending Ghana.
