BONO REGIONAL MINISTER JOINS CHIEF JUSTICE TO LAUNCH 2026 ADR WEEK IN SUNYANI

On 16th March 2026, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, the Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, alongside Her Ladyship Angelina Homiah, Judge-in-Charge of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and Her Ladyship Joyce Boahene, Supervising High Court Judge for Bono and Ahafo for the official inauguration of ADR Week at the High Court in Sunyani.

Also present at the event was the Bono East Regional Minister, Francis Owusu Antwi, and other distinguished members of the legal community.

The 2026 ADR Week is focused on enhancing public awareness and deepening understanding of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, while encouraging greater participation in these processes as a means of promoting efficient and accessible justice delivery.

In his address, the Bono Regional Minister reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the effective delivery of judicial services and advancing ADR systems, highlighting their importance to the continued development and stability of the Bono Region.
