BONO REGIONAL MINISTER CONDUCTS LATE-NIGHT PATROL TO STRENGTHEN ROAD SECURITY

On Wednesday, 25th June 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, conducted a late-night patrol around 11 p.m. to inspect the presence and alertness of security personnel at major checkpoints, including the Sunyani-Atronie road.
This action followed a pledge made earlier in the week to prioritize the safety of residents and travelers across the region. The inspection revealed that police officers were present at their assigned posts and were actively engaged in their duties. Their visible presence was described by the Regional Minister as reassuring for road users.
The Minister reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to maintaining high levels of vigilance and ensuring the safety of all citizens. He emphasized that his administration is working diligently to provide a secure environment across the region.

Hon. Akwaboa also highlighted the importance of transparency and accountability in leadership, noting that regular patrols serve not only as oversight mechanisms but also as opportunities to remain in touch with the realities on the ground and the performance of security agencies.
He encouraged residents of the Bono Region to continue collaborating with authorities by reporting any security concerns, adding that collective action is essential in building a safer and more secure region.
