BONO REGIONAL COORDINATING COUNCIL HOLDS FIRST STAFF MEETING OF 2025 IN SUNYANI

On 17th January 2025, the Management of the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) convened its first staff meeting of the year. The meeting, held at the RCC’s Conference Room, served as a platform for Management to reflect on the past year’s achievements and outline expectations for the year ahead.

In his opening remarks, the Regional Coordinating Director and Chief Director of the RCC, Mr. Andrews Mensah, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their dedication, commitment, and hard work throughout 2024. He acknowledged the collective efforts that contributed to the Council’s success and urged everyone to maintain the same spirit in the new year.

Mr. Mensah also took the opportunity to remind staff of the importance of cooperating fully and working harmoniously with the incoming Regional Minister, as a new administration is now in government. He emphasized that mutual respect, collaboration, and adaptability would be critical in ensuring a seamless transition and continued progress in achieving the Council’s mandate.

A key highlight of Mr. Mensah’s submissions was the call for punctuality in submitting quarterly and annual reports. Staff were urged to ensure all pending reports are completed and submitted promptly. Additionally, the deadline for submitting performance appraisals was set for 21st January 2025. Management stressed the significance of meeting these deadlines to facilitate smooth operations and planning.

Other Management members including the Regional Budget Analyst, Mr. Joshua Mireku, Deputy Director of the RCC, Mr. Alexander Bae-Yeboah and Human Resource Manager, Mrs. Akua Gyekyewaa Antwi all took turns to advise staff on their work ethics and encouraged them to keep working hard. Management emphasized the importance of teamwork and effective communication within the organization. Staff were reminded to adhere to established reporting channels when raising complaints or concerns. By doing so, the RCC aims to maintain a structured and harmonious working environment where issues are addressed efficiently.

As the Bono RCC embarks on its activities for 2025, Management reiterated its commitment to supporting staff in achieving organizational goals. Employees were encouraged to remain proactive, innovative, and committed to excellence in their respective roles.

After the presentations from management, staff were allowed to also make contributions to the issues being discussed and ask questions which bother them which were all addressed by management.

The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and determination among staff to uphold the RCC’s vision and mission. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, accountability, and dedication, the Council is poised for another successful year.
