REGIONAL AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT REPORTS ON FERTILIZER DISTRIBUTION UNDER THE PFJ 2.0 AND FSRP PROGRAMME

Some districts in the Bono Region received some fertilizers and agrochemicals under the PFJ (Planting for Food and Jobs) 2.0 programme (Grant Inputs) and FSRP (West Africa Food System Resilience Project) for onward distribution to farmers.
The Grant Inputs were to be distributed to the first 200,000 farmers across the country who were registered on the GhAAP, the vulnerable groups, and the Flood Victims (in Tain and Banda) while the FSRP fertilizers were for beneficiary farmers under the programme.

The number of beneficiaries comprised Grant Input, Flood Victims, and FSRP farmers. In all, 18 Flood Victims were among the beneficiaries of NPK and Urea.
Also during the fourth quarter, the Berekum West and Sunyani West districts received fertilizers under the West Africa Food System Resilience Project (FSRP) for onward distribution to farmers, that is, the FSRP-Norwegian Tomato Sub-Project. The FSRP fertilizers were for beneficiary FBOs and farmers.
