FARMERS AND STAFF OF AGRIC DEPARTMENTS IN BONO REGION BENEFIT FROM OFAB AWARENESS CREATION ON AGRICULTURAL BIOTECHNOLOGY

OFAB is a Civil Society platform that aims to create awareness of agricultural biotechnology and genetically modified organisms.

OFAB organized an advocacy and awareness creation session in Wenchi for selected staff and farmers from selected districts in the region on the benefits of agricultural biotechnology, especially on the PBR cowpea seed developed by CSRI-SARI.

Crops and Extension Officers from Wenchi, Sunyani Municipal, Sunyani West, Tain, and Banda, RAO Crops and Extension, and a selected number of farmers from these Districts benefitted.
