BONO RCC HOLDS SECOND QUARTER 2025 EXPANDED RPCU MEETING

The Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) convened the Second Quarter 2025 meeting of its Expanded Regional Planning Coordinating Unit (RPCU) on 30th July 2025 at the Council’s conference room in Sunyani.

The meeting brought together most of the departmental heads that make up the RPCU, alongside other key regional heads of state institutions, including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Ghana Highway Authority, Forestry Commission, and Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands, among others.

Chairing the session, Mr. George Osei, Regional Head of the Public Works Department, encouraged members to make meaningful contributions to discussions and work collaboratively to ensure the success of the meeting’s objectives.

The agenda for the day included:

• Consideration of minutes from the previous meeting
• Presentations on mid-year departmental activities by the various department heads present
• A report on the provision of technical backstopping to Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) by regional departments
• Any other matters of concern to the Bono Region

The meeting served as a platform for reviewing progress, sharing departmental updates, and addressing issues critical to the region’s development.
