BONO REGIONAL MINISTER COMMENDS AUDIT SERVICE FOR PROMOTING ACCOUNTABILITY
As part of his ongoing working visits to government institutions, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, visited the Bono Regional Office of the Audit Service on 16th July 2025.
The visit provided an opportunity to engage with staff and gain a deeper understanding of the Service’s vital role in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance in the management of public resources.
The Minister emphasized that the Audit Service’s mandate extends beyond identifying irregularities, it plays a crucial role in adding value to the operations of public institutions and enhancing public confidence in governance.
He commended the staff for their professionalism and dedication to upholding integrity in the public sector.
Hon. Akwaboa reaffirmed the government’s commitment, under the leadership of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, to supporting the Audit Service in fulfilling its mandate.
He pledged to work closely with the institution to promote a more transparent, efficient, and accountable public sector that ultimately serves the best interests of the Bono Region and its citizens.
