BONO REGIONAL MINISTER PAYS WORKING VISIT TO GRA IN SUNYANI

On 16th July 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, visited the Bono Regional Office of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in Sunyani as part of his ongoing institutional engagement efforts.

The visit aimed to understand the GRA’s operations, listen to the challenges faced by the staff, and explore avenues for collaboration to enhance institutional performance.

During his meeting with the management team, the Minister stressed the critical role of the GRA in national and regional development.

He highlighted the importance of effective revenue mobilization as a driving force for progress and urged the team to leverage their expertise to maximize revenue collection.

Addressing the entire staff, the Minister expressed appreciation for their dedication and reaffirmed the government’s commitment, under the leadership of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, to providing a supportive and interference-free work environment.

He pledged his full support and that of his office to help GRA staff succeed in their mission, recognizing their contributions as vital to the development of both the region and the nation.

The visit concluded with a renewed commitment to fostering strong collaboration between the Regional Coordinating Council and the GRA.
