BONO REGIONAL MINISTER ENGAGES GMA EXECUTIVES ON STRENGTHENING HEALTHCARE COLLABORATION

On 8th July 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, received a courtesy call from the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) divisional executives representing the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions.

The delegation visited to extend their congratulations to the Minister on his appointment and to express their readiness to partner in advancing healthcare in the region.

The Minister expressed his gratitude for the GMA’s goodwill and emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and medical professionals in improving public health.

He welcomed an invitation from the association to participate in their upcoming public lecture and assured them of his commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance healthcare delivery.

He also highlighted the potential for a productive partnership with the GMA and conveyed optimism about future joint efforts that would positively impact the health and wellbeing of residents across the three regions.

The visit marked a significant step towards strengthening ties between the Bono Regional Coordinating Council and the medical community.
