BONO REGIONAL CADET CORPS HONOURS REGIONAL MINISTER WITH GUARD OF HONOUR

On Thursday, May 8, 2025, the Bono Regional Cadet Corps honoured the newly appointed Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, with a Guard of Honour at the forecourt of the Regional Coordinating Council.

The ceremony served as a powerful display of discipline, patriotism, and youth leadership.

In his remarks, the Regional Minister commended the cadets for their impressive performance and reaffirmed his commitment to building a strong and collaborative relationship with the Corps.

As part of this commitment, Hon. Akwaboa announced the launch of an annual Regional Cadet Parade Competition. The initiative aims to promote excellence and healthy competition among cadet groups, with the winning school to be hosted for dinner at the Residency and presented with a formal award.

The Minister also emphasized the importance of recognizing and nurturing potential within the youth. He shared plans to prioritize cadet graduates who exhibit strong discipline and commitment for recruitment consideration into national security services, creating pathways for future leadership and service.

The event was marked as the beginning of a promising partnership between the Bono Regional Coordinating Council and the Cadet Corps, with both sides looking forward to fostering youth development and community service across the region.
