BONO REGIONAL MINISTER, NHIA CEO, PAY COURTESY CALL ON DORMAAHENE AHEAD OF OFFICE COMMISSIONING

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, on 28th September 2026, led the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, on a courtesy call on the President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs and Paramount Chief of the Dormaa Traditional Area, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II.

The engagement formed part of activities marking the commissioning of four newly constructed NHIA offices across the Bono Region.

The new facilities represent an investment in strengthening the operational capacity of the NHIA and expanding access to quality health insurance services for residents across the region.

The courtesy call also provided an opportunity for the NHIA leadership and regional authorities to engage with traditional leadership on matters relating to healthcare access and institutional collaboration in the Bono Region.

The Bono Regional Minister reaffirmed the Regional Coordinating Council’s commitment to supporting initiatives and partnerships aimed at improving access to healthcare, strengthening public institutions and enhancing the well-being of residents in the region.
