BONO REGIONAL MINISTER HOSTS CILT LEADERSHIP TO DISCUSS TRANSPORT AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, on 24th August 2026, hosted the leadership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Ghana, led by its Chairman, Al-Aka Dumba, together with the leadership of CILT Nigeria, led by Dr. Boboye Olayemi, who paid a courtesy call at his office.

The engagement focused on the strategic role of logistics and transportation in driving economic growth, facilitating trade, improving supply-chain efficiency and promoting sustainable development in the Bono Region and Ghana as a whole.

Discussions also explored opportunities for stronger collaboration and practical interventions aimed at improving efficiency, professionalism and service delivery within the logistics and transport sector.

Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of CILT for the visit and their continued commitment to promoting excellence in logistics and transportation. He further emphasised the importance of deepening collaboration with the Institute to support sustainable development and create greater economic opportunities for people in the Bono Region and beyond.
