SOD CUT FOR 24-HOUR ECONOMY MARKET PROJECT IN SUNYANI WEST MUNICIPAL

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined Hon. Millicent Yeboah Amankwah, Member of Parliament for the Sunyani West Constituency, alongside H.E. Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo, the Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Municipal Chief Executive Officer of Sunyani West, Hon. Asante Boateng and members of the Sunyani West community, to officially cut sod for the construction of a 24-hour Economy Market on 14th April 2026.

The project is described as a flagship initiative under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama. It is intended to strengthen local commerce and create a sustainable economic platform for the constituency, with the aim of promoting growth, expanding opportunities, and supporting long-term development within the community.
