BONO REGIONAL MINISTER PRESENTS ONE-YEAR PERFORMANCE REPORT BEFORE PRESIDENT MAHAMA AT UENR AUDITORIUM

On 19th March 2026, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, delivered an address to the people of the Bono Region and the nation at large in the presence of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, alongside ministers, traditional authorities, and other distinguished dignitaries.

During the address, the Minister presented a comprehensive account of his stewardship as Regional Minister over the past twelve months since assuming office. He utilized visual evidence to depict the condition of the region prior to his tenure and to highlight the progress achieved under his leadership.

The event, held at the UENR auditorium, was met with positive reception from attendees, who reportedly left with renewed confidence in the vision and efforts of the NDC administration.

Hon. Akwaboa also expressed appreciation to President Mahama for the trust and confidence reposed in him through his appointment. He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing development initiatives and improving the overall well-being of residents in the Bono Region.

On the same day which was also day two of President Mahama’s Resetting Ghana Tour of the Bono Region, the President inspected several ongoing construction projects within the Sunyani Municipality.

These included the proposed site for the Bono Regional Airport located at Nsuatre, the Sunyani Outer Ring Road, and GETFund projects at Sunyani SHS.
