OVER 2,000 FARMERS RECEIVE FARMING EQUIPMENT IN DORMAA MUNICIPALITY

Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister, participated in the distribution of farming equipment to over 2,000 farmers within the Dormaa Traditional Area on 5th December 2025.

The exercise was undertaken in collaboration with His Royal Majesty Nana Osagyefo Oseadeayor Dr. Agyemang Badu, Paramount Chief of the Dormaa Traditional Area and President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs.

Also present were the Municipal Chief Executive of Dormaa Municipal Assembly, Regional and Dormaa Central Constituency Chairpersons of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), members of the Regional Security Council (REGSEC), and other distinguished guests.

The initiative was made possible through the support of Jegri Bekala Mining Company, which provided the farming equipment to enhance agricultural activities within the traditional area.

Addressing the gathering, the Regional Minister commended His Royal Majesty Nana Agyemang Badu and the management of Jegri Bekala Mining Company for their vision and commitment to improving farming in the Dormaa Municipality.

He also congratulated the beneficiary farmers and award recipients for their dedication and contributions to agricultural development.
