REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF FDA PAY COURTESY CALL ON HON. JOSEPH ADDAE AKWABOA

On March 19, 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Honourable Joseph Addae Akwaboa, received the Bono Regional Director of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) and the Authority’s Public Relations Officer during a courtesy visit to his office.

The delegation visited to formally congratulate Hon. Akwaboa on his appointment as Regional Minister and to highlight the presence and role of the FDA within the Bono Region.

Given the critical mandate of the FDA, Hon. Akwaboa emphasized the need for the Authority to work diligently in regulating and ensuring the safety, quality, and efficacy of food and drug products in the region.

Hon. Akwaboa further underscored the importance of maintaining high-quality standards and conducting periodic market surveillance to ensure compliance with FDA regulations.

Hon. Akwaboa expressed appreciation for the visit and assured the delegation of his commitment to fostering collaboration. He also indicated his intention to reciprocate the gesture as part of his upcoming institutional visits.
