MMDAs IN BONO REGION OBSERVE 2024 NATIONAL FARMERS DAY TO CELEBRATE HARDWORKING FARMERS

The National Farmers’ Day was observed throughout Districts in the region on Friday 8th November 2024. The occasion was used to award farmers and fishers for their immeasurable contribution towards agriculture in the country.

The celebration was under the theme “Building Climate –Resilience Agriculture for Sustainable Food Security”.

Farmers received a variety of prizes such as tricycles, motorbikes, TV sets, roofing sheets, cutlasses, motorized spraying machines, protective clothes, wellington boots, and pieces of cloth among other agricultural inputs.
