MINISTRY OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT EMBARKS ON GSCSP MONTORING VISIT TO BONO RCC

On 2nd September 2025, the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs undertook its first expanded monitoring exercise on the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Program to the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).

The monitoring exercise is to provide a critical basis for assessing the GSCSP performance, consolidate results, and inform Government and Development Partners of the outcomes realized to date.

The monitoring focused on gathering firsthand information on implementation progress, verifying and consolidating data for the Program Results Framework (PRF) update, and identifying completed subprojects suitable for commissioning and wider visibility.

The Ag. Regional Coordinating Director of the Bono RCC, Mr. Nar-ire Puobenyere David, welcomed the monitoring team to the Bono Region and assured them of the RCC’s maximum support and cooperation to ensure the success of the exercise.
