CENTRE FOR NATIONAL CULTURE UNDERTAKES PROMOTION OF TOURISM THROUGH CULTURE

A construction of Cultural village, called Akoransu, commenced to be used as scenery for promoting indigenous culture heritage at the Regional Centre for National Culture (CNC).
The proposed village is to have a craft shop, sacred and wildlife spaces, cottage infrastructure among others. The aim of the development is to establish a hub for promoting culture through socialization, generate jobs for indigenous artisans and reviving ancient traditions through enactments to draw in tourist for revenue generation.
In the month of September, CNC graced the Regional Tourism Awards ceremony held at Sunyani to support culture and tourism growth.
The Regional Director graced the ceremony to provide support and was honored to give some awards to individuals whose performance in the industry was exceptional.
