BONO REGIONAL MINISTER WANTS GRADUATES FROM PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES TO BE DISCIPLINE

Bono Regional Minister, Justina Owusu Banahene has admonished private universities in the country to inculcate discipline in their students.
“…I wish to humble appeal to the University Authorities to rebrand their extra curriculum activities to inculcate [in the broader perspective] in their students to enable them become a worth Ambassadors of nation bulding”, she appealed on the occasion of the 4th Graduation ceremony of the College for Community Development (CCOD) in Sunyani.
According to the Minister, the government appreciates the contribution of private individuals and organizations in making Ghana achieved it’s development goals.
This according to Hon. Justina Owusu Banahene explains why this government, under the leader of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, continues to refurbish the education sector with favourable policies and programmes and funding to help the sector contribute significantly towards the developmental agenda of the Nation
“We salute all of you and in that regard but cannot lose sight of the many schools and colleges built purposely and soly for economic ventures and overlook the moral training which is essential for the youth to make them useful citizens to society”.
“I wish to, once again, express my sincerest appreciation to the Council and Faculty Members, as well as the entire members of the University Community for this wonderful opportunity given me to be part of this colourful Ceremony”.
